BETWEEN INTERVAL - biography

Behind Between Interval is Stefan Jönsson, born in southern Sweden back in 1982. Without any musical education, Stefan started experimenting and creating electronic music around the year of 1996. Originally focused around club related sounds, Stefan later on found his way to ambient music through artists like Steve Roach, Robert Rich and Aphex Twin.

After almost 10 years of composing electronic music, in 2005 the first Between Interval-album - Secret Observatory - was released on Spotted Peccary Music. Words like "mysterious and wondrous", "deep space music", "best ambient album of 2005"  and "pure ambient bliss" and have been used to describe the music.
