CED CATHARSIS - biography
In the late 90s Ced was playing a hybrid breakbeat and psychedelic trance sound which got him noticed by Tajmahal and Gill, at the time running a club at the « Monde à l'Envers » in Lyon. He set up the Lakazba collective with Nâga, Tran Museus, Ras Francis and Dr No and launched the « Trance Estate » parties showcasing Yayo, Maël, L'Elf... Fully open to other types of sound he went to perform in all kinds of trance and electro parties in Paris, Lyon, Grenoble, Genève, Marseille, San Sebastian, Wien, New Dehli... He is now working on his ambient side, collaborating with Vincent Villuis and Mahiane on the Subgardens project, Opale, and his own Catharsis. Keeping a strong liking for a deep and minimalist electro which he performs as Tall Ced, he returns in 2007 to the source with progressive psychedelic and melodic grooves to trance parties.
